Driving Growth and Exit Value in Your Advice Business
Our recent webinar, Unlock Millions: Transformative Strategies for Financial Advisers, brought together industry leaders and senior decision-makers to explore practical, data-driven strategies for unlocking significant value within financial advice businesses.
Based on insights from the latest Octopus Money/Catalyst Partners white paper, the session delivered actionable guidance across three core areas:
1. Identifying Hidden Costs
We explored how firms can assess their client books to identify underperforming segments. Delegates gained a clear understanding of the opportunity cost of servicing clients with lower asset values and the importance of aligning operational resources with their target market.
2. Maximising Sale Value
The session highlighted how the composition of a client base directly affects a firm’s appeal to potential buyers. Key topics included Consumer Duty compliance, cost-to-serve analysis, and strategic planning to enhance sale multiples—vital knowledge for anyone eyeing future acquisitions or exits.
3. Serving Smaller Clients More Efficiently
We also examined scalable ways to support clients with simpler needs. From technology solutions to partnership models, the focus was on maintaining profitability while delivering quality service.
Whether you’re planning a future sale, acquiring other firms, or simply looking to optimise operations, the session offered a wealth of insight.
